A glass sculpture that follows the triangle again and was created from a ceramic work at the Free Ceramics Academy, Grötzingen, Germany.
Tripedolo is a sculpture made of colorless glass with an optional stele to rotate the object and illuminate the 3 pillars bottom up. Light and color from the core and outside are in dialogue with the form as you see here. Feel free to enjoy and share
My focus and interest has been on exploring the beauty and diversity of sculptures inspired by triangular bands. Tripedolo follows this series of artworks with considerations on the visual effect of combined light sources.
The sculpture was transferred from ceramics to solid acrylic glass and refined by hand before being cast as a "lost form" in the glass foundry Lhotsky, Czech Republic. Here is the acrylic object before casting.
